A large majority of the Viking Access gate operating systems Main Junction Box (the large box on the inside of your property) containing the main control board and all terminations of equipment will look similar to that pictured in the diagram below.

Rebooting your gate system is in essence cutting off the power to the system, allowing the components to discharge, and restoring power. This is similar to hard booting your personal computer.
